PREPARATION OF A CMP FOR THE BENDETHERA HOMESTEAD PRECINCT WITHIN THE DEUA NATIONAL PARK NSW
This Plan was prepared for DECC/NPWS in conjunction with NGH Environmental consultants. The brief for this project was to undertake a conservation analysis of the pastoral history of the Bendethera pastoral holding including an analysis of the physical evidence and associated social values, in order to assist NPWS / DECC in the management of the historic heritage assets within Deua National Park. The key outcomes of the Plan were to be: the long-term conservation of Bendethera within the context of the valley and wider Deua National Park (DNP), the provision of a long term management focus for the Bendethera historic precinct in the DNP, and ensuring best practice management of integrated heritage values in and adjacent to the site.
