COOTAMUNDRA DISTRICT HOSPITAL HERITAGE ASSESSMENT + OPTIONS STRATEGIES
This study provided a preliminary architectural and historical investigation of the buildings comprising the former Cootamundra District Hospital. The briefed tasks of the study were to: prepare an outline history and statement of significance for the Hospital site; identify constraints imposed on the site by the statement of significance; prepare a conservation policy for significant buildings and areas on the Hospital site; finalise an implementation strategy for the conservation of significant buildings and areas on the site; and provide a draft feasibility statement on the retention of significant buildings, and options for future development
